Amanda Hargrove, founder of Hargrove Communications
I started Hargrove Communications so I could focus on the work I love most — helping professionals find their voices, articulate their views and position their organizations for growth and impact.
Drawing on a foundation of agency and corporate experience across marketing and public relations, I support organizations with messaging, content and strategies that make an impact with target audiences. I primarily work with companies in expertise-oriented sectors such as financial services, professional services and commercial real estate, as well as sustainability-focused organizations.
I bring more than two decades of broad experience in both strategy and writing. Through my freelance, agency and corporate roles, I have supported marketing and communications efforts for brands such as Ogilvy PR, Deloitte, JLL, Amazon Web Services, Alliant Credit Union, BentallGreenOak, the Case Foundation, Governance & Accountability Institute, Steelcase, FM Global and Acquis Consulting Group, among others.
I hold a B.S. in marketing from DePaul University and a Certificate in Storytelling and Content Strategy from the University of Washington. When I'm not behind my laptop, you'll find me spending time with my family, reading, climbing, traveling or enjoying the lakefront near my home in Evanston, Illinois.

I provide project-based rates so you know what to expect before we get started. The total cost is based on the project scope, including complexity and the deliverables required.
In certain circumstances, I can charge an hourly rate or work on retainer, based on your needs.
